By the end of our four days, we were more than ready to leave. The pool was closed for the duration of our stay and we were not offered any kind of discount to compensate. Only 3 devices could be connected to the 'free' internet (when there are 4 people in the room, that is an issue, especially when paying international data charges on our phones). The restaurant will encompass full-service breakfast, lunch and dinner dining options, delicious cocktails, as well as a fast-casual coffee shop and bakery called Petite Brasserie. There was no fridge in the room, and when we asked for one we were told there would be a charge. Specialties: Emeril Lagasse's first French-inspired restaurant concept Emeril's Brasserie will bring the signature Creole flavors he is famous for, to classic French-inspired dishes. There was no fan, just a small window in the shower that you could open to let out some of the moisture. The showerhead was non-existent.just a hole in the wall that sprayed a fine mist of water but not sufficient flow or water pressure. The room was well-furnished but the bathroom was underwhelming. To get anywhere in the hotel, you have to pass through the casino, which is common enough in Vegas, but the Orleans seemed to have an especially smoky environment, which my kids and I aren't used to, and we felt sick immediately. Having said that, If we went back to this competition, I'm not sure I'd stay at the Orleans Hotel again. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though it was incredibly busy during our stay. We decided to stay at the hotel to make it easier to get to the venue on time for performances.
